Responsibilities
- Assist the driver in loading and unloading
Furniture from the delivery vehicle
- Safely navigate routes and follow directions
provided by the driver
- Provide exceptional customer service during
deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Help maintain accurate records of
deliveries, including obtaining signatures/photos and collecting payments when
necessary
- Adhere to all safety protocols and
regulations while handling furniture and operating equipment
- Assist with any other tasks as assigned by
the driver or supervisor
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills to
effectively interact with customers and team members
- Strong customer service skills to ensure a
positive delivery experience for our customers
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving
record (Commercial driving experience is a plus)
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, as
well as load and unload delivery vehicles
- Furniture building experience is a plus(ie.
Bed frames, tables, adjustable bases, bunk beds)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
and meet delivery time frames
- Must be dependable and punctual
