ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists the Director with the software applications,
documents, and financial information as it relates to the Purchasing
Department.
- Responsible for Time and Attendance approvals of direct
reports.
- New vendor set up and credit application process.
- Annual vendor performance review.
- Negotiate pricing, solicit RFQ’s and initiates
contracts according to Business Office Procedures.
- Assists Director in conducting policy and procedure
training to new managers as it relates to the Business Office.
- Cell phone management to include obtaining approvals,
distribution, training and plan and usage review.
- Assignment of tasks to direct reports.
- Order processing.
- Acts in supervisory capacity in the event the Director
or AVP is not available to make critical decisions.
- Vendor database management.
- Complies with all agency policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma and 5 years full time purchasing and supervisory experience.
SUPERVISORY
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the supervision and professional development of the Purchasing Personnel.
