Essential Functions:

Customer Service Activities:

  • Answer customer phone calls and emails using the respective communication platforms.
  • When required, escalate customer issues to the appropriate party so as to provide a positive and efficient solution.
  • Conduct follow-up communications to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any ongoing concerns.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations to address and resolve customer inquiries related to production, shipping, returns, product service.
  • Collaborate with Sales Team to address customer questions about product line.
  • Provide feedback to Customer Experience Manager to ensure First Healthcare Products is offering an optimized experience to their customers.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and organized records of customer interactions
  • Consistently report on specific metrics and trends, such as volume of customer inquires, type of customer inquiries, average first response time.

Product Knowledge

  • Staying up to date on company offerings to provide accurate assistance to guide customers through technical or usage issues.
  • Assisting customers with placing, tracking, or modifying orders.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives by identifying areas for improvement in the Customer Service process.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to streamline Customer Service activities and enhance overall customer experience.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as required.

Basic Skills:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Empathetic and patient in handling difficult customer interactions.
  • Adaptable in responding to varying customer needs.
  • Problem-solving abilities, especially related to resolving customer issues.
  • Proficiency in time management and multi-tasking to manage multiple quality activities simultaneously.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical certificate / degree preferred.
  • Experience communicating with customers effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Prior customer service experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with basic computer applications.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to sit for extended periods while using a computer and phone to communicate with customers.
  • Proficiency in typing and using a mouse to navigate software systems efficiently.
  • Skill in using a keyboard and other office equipment to facilitate communication and data entry.
