Responsibilities
- Run daily ERP reports to firm shop orders. Run daily
reports to release jobs to shop, stockroom and Assembly.
- Review inventory levels to insure accuracy in job order
quantities
- Maintain and/or adjust inventory levels in
collaboration with Purchasing & Sales as needed to achieve company
goals
- Participate in monthly cycle counting on parts or end
of year inventory.
- Works closely with Manufacturing Managers, Purchasing,
Quality, Sales and Engineering departments, coordinating and ensuring that
schedules and material related issues are maintained, and products are
completed and shipped in a timely manner.
- Firm, schedule & release job orders for Machine
Shop, MTM/Press Assy and Stock room.
- Review daily work center schedules to insure accuracy
in planning and scheduling to meet customer delivery demands. Also,
expedite orders and materials as required.
- Complete job orders after checking parts/materials were
correctly issued.
- Complete special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree.
- Computer skills. Must be able to read & understand
drawings to a certain degree.
- Concepts and principles of planning to develop
solutions to a variety of problems.
- 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing,
procurement or customer service-related capacity.
- Must be able to prioritize projects effectively.
- Highly organized with solid time management skills, strong attention to detail, computer and communication skills.
