Key Responsibilities:
Team Hiring &
Leadership:
- Recruit, hire, and onboard support staff for the
facility’s operations.
- Train and supervise team members, providing mentorship
to ensure a productive and collaborative work environment.
- Oversee staffing schedules and delegate
responsibilities to ensure operational efficiency.
Facility Setup &
Management:
- Lead the setup of the engraving and warehouse facility,
including equipment installation, workspace design, and process
optimization.
- Develop efficient workflows for engraving, picking,
packing, and shipping operations to maximize productivity and quality.
Coordination with
Shipping Carriers:
- Establish and maintain relationships with shipping
carriers to ensure efficient drop-shipping operations.
- Oversee the preparation of shipments and ensure the
timely and accurate delivery of both personalized and non-personalized
products.
Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory tracking, including the receipt,
organization, and storage of supply shipments.
- Implement systems to ensure inventory accuracy and
availability, maintaining appropriate stock levels for personalized and
non-personalized products to meet customer demand.
Engraving Operations:
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of engraving equipment
to ensure high-quality personalized products.
- Troubleshoot production issues and liaise with
technical support when necessary.
Process Improvement
& Reporting:
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve
efficiency and effectiveness in warehouse, engraving, and shipping
operations.
- Provide regular updates and performance reports to
senior management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
Qualifications for
Success
- Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s
or Bachelor’s degree preferred. 1–3 years in warehouse, production, or
operations management (eCommerce/manufacturing experience preferred).
Familiarity with engraving equipment is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient
in shipment/inventory software (e.g., ShipStation), Microsoft Office, and
Google Workspace. Knowledge of shipping logistics and drop-shipping
processes.
- Leadership & Organization: Proven ability to hire, train, and manage teams.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle diverse
operations.
- Problem-Solving: Skilled
at identifying workflow inefficiencies and implementing improvements.
Strong critical-thinking and analytical abilities.
- Communication: Excellent
written and verbal communication with strong interpersonal skills to
mentor staff and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a
warehouse setting with prolonged standing and walking.
- Additional: Forklift certification is a plus. Flexibility for a 12:00 PM–8:30 PM schedule and seasonal workload adjustments.
