Key Responsibilities:
- Greet
and welcome all members/guests in a polite and friendly manner.
- Manage
the reservation book, ensuring all bookings are accurately recorded and
organized.
- Answer
phone calls promptly, assisting members with reservations, inquiries, and
general information.
- Seat
tables in a timely and efficient manner, considering seating preferences
and dining arrangements.
- Assist
with resetting tables for dinner service, ensuring cleanliness and
readiness for the next members.
- Organize
and manage the floor plan, ensuring proper table assignments and
coordination with servers.
- Communicate
effectively with the food and beverage director, servers, and other staff
to ensure smooth service.
- Maintain
an organized and clean work environment, including the host stand and
reservation areas.
- Assist
in other duties as needed to support restaurant operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous
experience as a host/hostess or in customer service is a plus but not
required.
- Excellent
verbal communication skills and a polite, professional demeanor.
- Ability
to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and organized.
- Strong
attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Flexibility
to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge
of reservation software is a plus but not required.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
