What You'll Do:
- Prepare
financial statements, journal entries and general ledger account
reconciliations in accordance to GAAP, IFRS, and other regulatory
requirements. Ensures timely resolution of issues.
- Coordinate
various financial close cycle activities.
- Analyze
operating and financial statement information and prepare reporting for
Senior Leadership.
- Perform
variance analysis to determine root cause, make recommendations for
improvement of performance or operating efficiencies.
- Track
and monitor key performance indicators (KPI) and associated metrics over a
specified time period, and compare against acceptable norms, past
performance or targets.
- Recommend
action to improve performance or operating efficiencies (process
improvement).
- Lead
special accounting projects including analysis and testing of new systems
- Analyze
KPIs and communicates analysis/insights to leadership. Where applicable,
incumbent will execute/implement agreed decisions.

controls, preparing financial reports and safeguarding the organizations
assets.
- Guidance
to department staff.
- Support
or lead department on cross-functional initiatives.
- Guidance on contract interpretation and escalation issues
