Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Process orders/changes for merchandise received by
mail, telephone, fax, e-mail, e-commerce, or personally from customers or
company employees, in accordance with established department policies and
procedures. Process credit cards when required.
- Process Private Label and Consignment orders and
maintain liaison with other departments to ensure timely order completion.
- Build and maintain business relationships with
customers by providing prompt and accurate service to ensure customer
satisfaction and promote customer loyalty.
- Educate customers about terminology, features, and
benefits of products in order to improve product-related sales and
customer satisfaction.
- Increase sales and average order size by means of
cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales, and offering promotional sale
items.
- Prepare invoices and/or credit memos and ensure that
necessary paperwork is completed for domestic and international orders.
- Coordinate with scheduling, production, and shipping
departments to ensure orders are shipped according to customer
instructions and on time, expediting orders as needed.
- Generate and distribute daily and weekly reports.
- Complete call logs and reports.
- Record customer complaints and forward reports to the
Quality department for processing.
- Monitor and process orders for the Silipos UK
warehouse.
- Ensure that requests for information from customers or
leads are provided in a timely manner.
- In coordination with Sales and Marketing, prepare and
distribute product information and promotional mailings, and process
orders for trade show samples/materials. Maintain postage for the mailing
machine.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a
related financial role.
- Familiarity with general accounting principles and
procedures.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g.,
QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
(e.g., creating spreadsheets, using formulas, pivot tables, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
effectively in a demanding environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in an office environment with
occasional visits to the manufacturing floor.
- Occasional lifting of office supplies and materials (up
to 20 lbs.).
- Must be able to sit for extended periods and utilize
office equipment.
Additional
Information:
- This position requires a minimum of two weeks' notice
upon resignation.
- Full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position.
