Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the warehouse, including but not limited to receiving, storing, and shipping products, and managing inventory levels.
  • Lead, motivate and supervise a team of warehouse staff, ensuring that all team members are trained, equipped, and accountable for their responsibilities.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse activities and ensure adherence to all established policies and procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels, track inventory movements, and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments, including proper documentation and adherence to shipping/receiving schedules.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiencies, reduce costs, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, equipment, and personnel, using appropriate software tools.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize warehouse operations and increase productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
  • Experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse staff.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and WMS software.
