Duties
- Curate and mix music playlists tailored to the event
and audience preferences.
- Set up and operate sound equipment, ensuring optimal
audio quality throughout the event.
- Engage with guests through announcements, song
requests, and interactive activities.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while providing
excellent customer service to clients and attendees.
- Collaborate with event planners to understand specific
requirements and themes.
- Promote upcoming events through our companies social media
pages or other marketing channels as needed.
- Handle heavy lifting of equipment during setup and
breakdown of events.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order before
each performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DJ or in a similar role is preferred
but not mandatory.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to
communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of various music genres to cater to different
tastes and preferences.
- Experience in bartending or customer service is a plus
for enhancing guest interactions.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting related to sound
equipment setup and teardown.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as
required by event schedules.
- A passion for dance and entertainment that translates into an engaging performance style.
