Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for increasing New York based environmental sales and support.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in the New York environmental sector such environmental consulting firms, government agencies, and other relevant actors.
  • Promote Nova Blue’s equipment offerings, demonstrating their value to potential clients.
  • Generate new leads and convert them into long-term partnerships through excellent customer service and product knowledge.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor rental solutions that meet client needs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to continually refine business strategies and product offerings.
  • Travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in business development, sales, or account management within the environmental or scientific equipment sector OR strong interpersonal skills and willingness to learn.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental monitoring equipment, groundwater sampling tools, and VOC detection equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for negotiation and closing deals.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and meet sales targets.
  • Familiarity with the industry is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel and engage directly with customers to drive business growth.
