Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business
development strategy for increasing New York based environmental sales and
support.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key
decision-makers in the New York environmental sector such environmental
consulting firms, government agencies, and other relevant actors.
- Promote Nova Blue’s equipment offerings, demonstrating
their value to potential clients.
- Generate new leads and convert them into long-term
partnerships through excellent customer service and product knowledge.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor rental
solutions that meet client needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and
customer feedback to continually refine business strategies and product
offerings.
- Travel as needed to meet with clients and attend
industry events.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) in business development,
sales, or account management within the environmental or scientific
equipment sector OR strong interpersonal skills and willingness to learn.
- Strong knowledge of environmental monitoring equipment,
groundwater sampling tools, and VOC detection equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term
client relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with
a knack for negotiation and closing deals.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple
accounts, and meet sales targets.
- Familiarity with the industry is a plus.
- Willingness to travel and engage directly with customers to drive business growth.
