Job Responsibilities
- In this position, you will be responsible for
a variety of duties. They will include tow motor operation, shipping and
receiving of material, cutting and packaging of matrial, upkeep/cleaning of
showroom and warehouse maintenance functions.
- Hours are 9:30am-1:30pm Monday to Friday or
could possible arrnage for a longer day 2-3 days a week
- This is a physical job! You should understand
that you will be on your feet a majority of your shift.
- Here is a list of tasks that you can expect to
perform during a typical
- Receive incoming carpet shipments and verify
the accuracy of the delivered products.
- Inspect carpets for damages, defects, or
discrepancies and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Safely and efficiently unload carpets from
delivery trucks and transport them to the appropriate storage areas using
forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Organize and store carpets in designated
locations based on size, style, and type.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by
updating stock levels, properly cutting carpets, labeling carpets, and
conducting regular stock counts.
- Prepare carpets for shipment by picking,
cutting, and packing orders according to customer requirements.
- Keep the showroom/warehouse clean, organized,
and free from safety hazards by regularly sweeping, removing debris, and
following proper waste disposal procedures.
- Collaborate with other team members and
supervisors to optimize operations and fulfill customer orders accurately and
efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to
ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
