Duties
- Greet guests as they
arrive and thank them as they leave
- Assist in seating
guests and managing reservations
- Provide menus and relay any specials or promotions to guests
- Manage waitlists and
communicate wait times effectively
- - Collaborate with
servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- - Handle guest
inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- - Maintain cleanliness
and organization of the host stand area
Experience
- Previous experience
in a customer-facing role, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong communication
skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Familiarity with POS
systems
- Ability to multitask
in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices
