Salary: $32.01 - 49.62 per hour

UCHealth Cherry Creek is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our Otolaryngology team. In this role, you will support our physicians and clinical staff in providing exceptional care to patients with ear, nose, and throat (ENT) conditions. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing patients for examinations, assisting with procedures, and managing patient records. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Prepare patients for examination by obtaining vital signs, reviewing medical history, and ensuring comfort.
  • Clinical Assistance: Assist physicians during exams and minor surgical procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment is available and sterilized.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and coordinate follow-up care as needed.
  • Patient Education: Provide patients with instructions regarding their care, medication, and post-procedure guidelines.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other medical assistants, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure a smooth and efficient clinic flow.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all UCHealth policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a medical office setting, preferably in Otolaryngology or a related specialty.
  • Certification: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
