Flex your analytical and lateral thinking skills in this dual role position. This is a unique administrative support role that will split duties between the Mental Health Forensics Unit and CIBH Admin/Human Resources department. 

Chesapeake Integrated Behavioral Healthcare has been awarded a grant from the Department
of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) to provide multi-jurisdictional
funding for Forensic Discharge Planning services at the Hampton Roads Regional Jail (HRRJ) .

This grant is a collaborative effort between the following: HRRJ, Hampton Newport News Community Services Board, Portsmouth Dept of Behavioral Healthcare Services, Norfolk Community Services Board and CIBH.

CIBH will be the fiscal agent and data manager for the grant. 
The responsibilities of the position will include:
  • Accounting, budget administration, data collection and reporting.
  • Complete data entry into DBHDS spreadsheet and upload report quarterly. Ensure that data is received from all participating partners to ensure complete reporting.
  • Provide assistance to the CIBH Forensics Supervisor for the smooth execution of the Grant.
  • May be asked to assist case managers with arranging transportation for participants. This may involve coordination with CIBH transportation services and/or insurance companies.
  • Receive and process requests for reimbursement(invoices) from participating partners to include coding an/or entry into PeopleSoft.
  • Submit quarterly request to the Grantor for funding draw down.
  • Compile statistical and/pr narrative data into reports.  
  • Attend monthly meetings with participating partners to report on administrative and
    programmatic updates.
  • Prepare narrative reports on a regular basis in support of the program.
  • Prepare memos and correspondence for the CIBH HR department and/or Deputy Director.
  • Work closely with the Deputy Director and HR supervisor to coordinate events in HR, create HR related reports, participate in various projects. 
  • Sort and file document types in Personnel file reporting
