Human Resources Coordinator II

The Human Resources Coordinator II position is responsible for processing personnel actions such as new hires, status changes, salary adjustments, and terminations for all City departments ensuring actions are in accordance with policy and have been properly approved in accordance with established internal controls. The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Collecting and analyzing information to review and approve personnel actions for all departments.
  • Updating and maintaining documentation related to personnel actions
  • Providing support to departmental payroll/HR staff with related personnel activities such as conveying policies and procedures.
  • Facilitating training on the City’s Human Resources policies and procedures
  • Preparing and maintaining various reports, records, and other documentation
