DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works with NY Market Manager to establish
growth, sales, and profit objectives for the branch, as well as identify
specific marketing strategies and opportunities to expand the bank in the
market.
- Responsible for the overall sales
management of the branch. Assigning goals, engaging and coaching a
motivated branch team to provide solutions that achieve results.
- Prospect and develop new business
opportunities through a variety of proactive efforts, including community
involvement and networking events.
- Responsible for taking consumer and home
equity loan applications, building relationships with customers, and
providing exceptional customer service.
- Manages the Treasury Management needs of
the branch and lending customers.
- Fosters a branch environment that
encourages teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Oversees the delegation of daily branch
activities, schedules, team meetings and ensures effective operations of
the branch according to bank policies and procedures.
- Contributes to the development and
motivation of the branch team in the monitoring of individuals’ growth and
performance to standards and goals, providing timely formal and informal
performance feedback to employees.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and
personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting
quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Economics and Accounting—Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the
financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial
data.
- English Language – Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language
including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and
grammar.
- Communication— Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral and
written.
- Sales and Marketing—Knowledge of principles and methods for promoting, and selling
products or services.
- Clerical—Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
such as word processing, managing files and records and other office
procedures and terminology.
- Bank Secrecy Act – In the performance of all the respective tasks and duties, employee
will maintain knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act regulations and all other
regulatory, security and bank policies and procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work
experience.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a
financial institution or loan office setting.
- Extensive background in financial
institution operating policies and procedures and banking regulations both
state and federal.
- Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry Identifier (NMLS) will be required.
