Main Responsibilities of a Receptionist:

  • Greeting and assisting guests
  • Handling a variety of administrative support tasks
  • Providing outstanding customer service
  • Make Reservations
  • Check-in &/or Check-out guest
  • Keeping Lobby Clean
  • Laundry

Responsibilities of a Receptionist:

  • Welcoming and greeting guests
  • Performing safety checks
  • Directing guests around the area if asked (Must know the general area around the hotel)
  • Answering and forwarding phone calls
  • Making, Changing and or Canceling Reservations
  • Copying, faxing and performing other administrative tasks
  • Laundry
  • Keeping the Lobby and area clean and well-organized
  • Providing delightful customer service
  • Dealing and Handling customer service with a smile

Receptionist Job Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Great telephone communication skills
  • Great organizational skills
  • Good computer skills, including competency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Good time-management skills
  • Customer-centric approach
  • Professional and friendly disposition
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Willingness to assist colleagues with administrative tasks
  • Experience as a front desk agent is a plus
