Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and provide a warm and
friendly welcome upon arrival
- Assist guests with the check-in and
check-out process, including handling payments
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest
inquiries and requests in a timely manner
- Provide information about hotel services,
amenities, and local attractions
- Handle guest complaints and resolve any
issues with professionalism and efficiency
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing
of reservations and room assignments
- Communicate with other hotel departments
such as housekeeping and maintenance to fulfill guest requests and
maintain a high level of guest satisfaction
- Maintain a neat and organized front desk
area and lobby at all times
- Participate in regular training and
development opportunities to continuously improve knowledge and skills
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
required; Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred
- Previous experience in a customer service
or hospitality role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills
- Strong problem-solving and
decision-making abilities
- Ability to work flexible schedules
including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient computer skills, including
experience with hotel reservation systems
- Fluency in English; additional language
skills a plus
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
