Customer Service Clerk II

POLICE SUPPORT

The Customer Service Clerk II position will be tasked with pulling and preparing records for requests while maintaining compliance with strict time restrictions in accordance with each request.
Other Customer Service Clerk II responsibilities:
  • Establishes and maintains files, records and accounts for area of responsibility
  • Maintains knowledge base of current laws and policies
  • Attends in-service training and technical/professional classes, seminars or conferences to improve skills
  • Interacts with other departments, customers, and the public by telephone, in-person or fax/email
  • provides information, directs individuals to appropriate personnel
  • takes and relays messages
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Conducts administrative functions such as recording statistical information, compiling reports, performing specialized projects, coordinating with other agencies or the public and maintaining logs and forms
  • Fingerprinting, processing applications and permits, processing local background checks
Performs other duties as assigned
