Public Works Operations is currently seeking an employee primarily to be part of our Camera Truck Operation team as a camera truck operator.
Qualified applicant should be able to:
- Lead a crew and perform routine administrative tasks using standard office equipment.
- Train to operate remote pipeline observation equipment
- Use specific NASSCO pipe software and asset management software to create reports and complete work orders.
- Work with maps and understand basic drawings.
- Lay out a job site and carry out flagging procedures.
- Perform emergency response functions such as hurricane road clearing and snow/ice control.
- Participate in training and skills development in construction methods and equipment operation towards career progression and personal advancement.
- Requires the ability to use hand tools to perform labor, basic knowledge of construction and tools, and ability to learn construction equipment operation, and adhere to safety procedures. Qualified applicant should also be able to perform basic concrete and asphalt construction work and operate associated equipment as needed for assignment to other crews.
