Are you a high-energy and results-focused procurement student looking to serve Virginia’s second-largest city?
The City of Chesapeake seeks a summer intern interested in learning the ins and outs of public procurement. The intern will work closely with the Deputy Procurement Administrator.
The internship program will offer an immersive experience and an opportunity to acquire knowledge, skills and abilities to enhance understanding of local government services, policies and processes.
Beginning approximately May 6, 2024, the intern will work 10 – 20 hours per week for 12 weeks. The anticipated end date is August 2, 2024.
