Marketing and Graphic Design Coordinator

Essential
Responsibilities and Functions
Graphic Design
- Create visually compelling
designs for promotional materials including flyers, exterior banners,
recipes, brochures, direct mail campaigns, in-store signage,
e-newsletters, other digital assets, and any other store design needs.
- Coordination of production
vendors and timelines
- Uphold brand standards and
maintain brand asset and media library
- Ensure brand consistency across
all marketing collateral, including materials needed by administrative and
operational teams.
Content Creation
- Build and maintain the Co-op's
ongoing promotional content calendar
- Develop engaging and
informative content for marketing campaigns, social media, and other
communication channels.
- Collaborate with the marketing
team and leadership to generate content ideas that align with promotional
objectives.
- Create eye-catching graphics
and visuals to enhance omnichannel presence.
Event Coordination
- Assist in planning and
executing marketing events, promotions, and product launches.
- Coordinate with vendors and
internal teams to ensure successful event implementation.
Team/Department
Collaboration
- Work closely with the sales and
merchandising teams to create promotional materials that drive sales.
- Collaborate with the store
management team to ensure marketing initiatives align with overall
business goals.
- Collaborate with Lexington
Co-op's service providers and vendors on campaigns and promotions.
Print and Digital
Marketing
- Oversee the production and
execution of print materials, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
- Contribute to the development
and execution of digital marketing strategies, including email campaigns,
online advertising, and website maintenance.
Market Research
- Stay informed about industry
trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Utilize market research to
inform marketing strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
Other Duties ยท Align
with the Co-op Culture and Values
- Model customer service
standards in all interactions with shoppers, vendors, staff and other
stakeholders.
- Attend and participate in
several leadership and team meetings weekly and adapt schedule to changing
needs that arise.
- Perform other tasks as assigned
by the Marketing Manager.
Physical Job Requirements
- Regularly required to sit,
stand, walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk
or hear; and smell.
- Occasionally required to bend;
stoop; squat; kneel; climb; reach above shoulder height.
- Regularly lift, carry, and/or
move up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to use computer
keyboard, monitor, mouse, telephone, and various office equipment
continuously.
- Ability to be present and
working in assigned area for up to 3 hours without rest.
- Specific vision abilities
include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision,
depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to read register
screen, product labels and shelf labels.

ability to think both conceptually and analytically
- Proficient within the Adobe
Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat
- Experience using Canva or
another preferred online design tool
- Intermediate to Advanced
Microsoft Office Skills
- Proficient with copy writing,
editing and/or proofreading skills.
- Detail oriented
- Friendly and outgoing with a
customer service mindset
- Great team player and strong
independent worker, takes initiative
- Excellent organizational skills
