Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events from conception to completion.
- Collaborate with the Event Coordinator to develop event timelines, budgets, and checklists.
- Assist with event logistics, including setup, breakdown, and on-site coordination.
- Act as a point of contact for event attendees, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
- Assist in marketing and promoting events through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and printed materials.
- Prepare event materials, such as name tags, signage, and presentation materials.
- Conduct research to identify potential event venues, speakers, sponsors, and entertainment options.
- Assist in post-event activities, such as gathering feedback, analyzing event success, and preparing post-event reports.
- Provide general administrative
support to the event planning team, including data entry, filing, and
correspondence.
Requirements
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other event planning software/tools.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
