Tax Coordinator (regular part-time, 30 hours/week)

What Your Impact Will Be
- Actively involved in review,
analysis and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use
tax returns
- Assist in non-income related
sales and use tax audits
- Assist with various
miscellaneous non-income related tax filings including but not limited to
annual reports, business licenses, and unclaimed property reporting
- Work closely with off-site team
and internal departments in identifying and developing process
improvements that are incorporated into the regular work routine
- Research requests for exempt
documentation from Business Units and suppliers for validity
- Compliance with Mattel
Corporate Accounting Policies and Procedures and Generally Accepted
Accounting Principles
- Provide high quality and efficient service to Mattel’s internal and external customers
What We’re Looking For
- Associates degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
- Experience in accounting,
finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of PCs and
software including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Oracle or other ERP system
experience desirable.
- Ability to prioritize tasks
while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
including the ability to work effectively with people at all levels in
open office setting.
- Excellent verbal and
communication skills.
- Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
