Marketing Assistant

Essential Functions

Oversee all social media accounts – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn
Create content and maintain a regular posting schedule.
Develop strategies to increase followers and engagement.
Review analytics
Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages in a timely manner.
Assist Executive Assistant with coordinating BHSC’s special events and fundraising initiatives:
Auction items – assist with gift outreach, gift acknowledgement, and coordination.
Invitation and Program– assist with production and mail fulfillment.
List Management – assist with RSVP tracking, table seating, and special requests.
Event Production – assist in Day of Event plan development and execution including volunteer coordination.
Organize BHSC internal monthly Marketing meetings.
Collaborate with BHSC Marketing Agency on publication of monthly external newsletter.
Travel to other BHSC sites as needed.

Skills

Excellent computer skills and database management
Knowledge of Microsoft Office & Adobe is required
Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge or Greater Giving is a plus, but not necessary
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe
Exceptional interpersonal skills, customer service and attention to detail
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Graphic design work a plus, but not necessary
Strong functional knowledge of social media principles, practices, and the desire to apply that knowledge in a professional environment
