Essential Functions


  • Work under the supervision and general direction of a Superintendent or General Superintendent
  • Schedule materials deliveries on site when possible, otherwise order material as needed but to coincide with monthly billings
  • Sign materials in and out of warehouse prior to deliveries
  • Schedule and Manage job site manpower with Superintendent; Maintain weekly manpower schedules.
  • Set expectations of productivity daily; Set expectations of quality daily
  • Scope of work reviews/precons with job site personnel
  • Review Safety Procedures and follow through.
  • Daily Job hazard analysis JHA’s (Job Foreman). Superintendent verifies this is being done daily
  • Inspect project prior to scheduling crews to verify project scope is ready for production.
  • Notify Superintendent regarding training requirements for other employees (for proper installation for each product prior to starting project, etc.). Maintain quality control of installation.
  • Attend weekly job site meetings. Utilize daily logs for documentation of site visits and any issues encountered.
  • Keep all records up to date on our electronic job files emails
  • Utilize monthly billing projections for labor and materials in coordination with Superintendent
  • Utilize approved submittals, Spec-Data sheets, etc. to educate yourself about the materials that we are installing.
  • Coordinate housing as needed for our crews.
  • Communicate with office operation managers daily
  • Demonstrate selection of firestop systems for through penetration and fire-resistive joint applications and proper labeling (if applicable)
  • Capable of installing and training field personnel on proper installation of a variety of UL rated assemblies. Job will require installing firestop assemblies on project site while supervising correct install of others
  • Demonstrate successful completion of paperwork required on a typical commercial construction project (i.e. electronic daily reports, safety tool box talks, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience


  • 5+ years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools (i.e. Excel, Word, PDF) and use of Surface or other similar computer
