Paralegal
CITY ATTORNEY
The City Attorney’s Office is seeking an experienced transactional paralegal with experience in real estate or land use/development to join a diverse local government law practice in a collegial environment for a dynamic, growing city.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Legal research
- Reviewing land use applications, proffer statements, staff reports, and development criteria to ensure legal requirements are met
- Drafting of legal documents such as ordinances and resolutions for City Council and the Planning Commission for public hearing items such as rezonings, street closures, and City Code amendments
- Performs office tasks such as composing and typing correspondence, maintaining appropriate records, scheduling meetings
- Serve as departmental Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Coordinator to process requests for disclosure including searching, compiling and reviewing responsive documents for appropriate legal exemptions and redactions
- Other duties as assigned
