Summary
We are actively recruiting for a Facilities Coordinator to join our team at Corporate Headquarters. This person will assist with coordinating the physical workplace with the business and employee needs of the organization. They will maintain existing buildings through general and preventative maintenance work orders.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform inspections scheduled through the Maximo work order system for weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual preventative maintenance. Example; Mitsubishi filter changes, light bulb replacement, cleaning of light lenses, roof inspections, emergency lights/exit light, minor plumbing issues etc. Coordinate with supervisor any deficiencies that require repairs or replacement out of your experience, expertise or knowledge.
- Perform the weekly testing and running of the fire pump system. Coordinate with our vendor the quarterly testing of the fire pump, fire hydrants and the annual inspection of our fire alarm panel, horn strobes, lights and pull stations.
- Perform Online Service Requests submitted for resolution.
- Policing of parking lots for debris, maintaining the memorial fountain, sweeping & maintenance of sidewalks.
- Provide backup and support to the Check Disbursement/Mail Room/Shipping Coordinator.
Minimum Education and Experience
High School Diploma with Career & Technical Education and Five (5) Years of relevant experience.
The ideal candidate will be computer literate with experience in Outlook, Word and Power Point. Must be able to demonstrate effective organization skills, attention to details and multi-task. Must possess strong oral and written communication skills. Will be required to interact with a wide variety of people at different levels within the company. Must have a valid driver’s license. Background and experience in general maintenance (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry).
Experience Requirements

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50/lbs. at one given time
- Must be able to climb a ladder
- Position requires being In and Out of the buildings daily around the complex or offsite locations.
