This staff auditor position will report directly to the Manager of Audit Services. We are seeking a well-rounded individual that can perform a range of assignments in the following areas: information technology (IT), operations, and finance. This is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive compensation package. A generous relocation package is also available for qualifying candidates.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Perform compliance testing of the Company's SOX/internal controls program, including planning, executing, and drawing conclusions on the design and operational effectiveness of Automated and IT General Controls. 
  2. Make recommendations and provide guidance/consultation regarding process improvements necessary for remediating internal control gaps.
  3. Assist with developing audit work programs and enhancing existing programs to execute the scope and objectives of IT, operational, and financial audits.
  4. Assist with planning, executing, and reporting results of consulting and assurance engagements, including reviewing results and recommendations with management, obtaining management responses, and following up on remediation efforts where necessary. 
  5. Complete special projects and other reporting duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years in an Information Systems, Accounting, and/or Auditing role

Experience Preferred

  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Previous SOX controls testing
  • Knowledge of SAP and other ERP systems
  • Understanding of the integration points between IT and business processes
  • Prior exposure to the food or manufacturing industry
  • CISA, CPA, CIA and/or CMA certification

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

  1. Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings
  2. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another
  3. May need to access files, supplies and equipment
  4. Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment
