Do you have experience with Incident Based Reporting (IBR)? The Chesapeake Police Department is seeking YOU as a subject matter expert in Incident Based Reporting (IBR) related areas.
The selected candidate for the Incident Based Reporting Coordinator position will do the following:
The selected candidate for the Incident Based Reporting Coordinator position will do the following:
- Retrieves and reviews reports and arrest records in order to enter information into the Department's records management system and to detect errors prior to reporting to the Virginia State Police.
- Responsible for entering, reviewing, rejecting and correcting IBR and Community Policing Data information for state required submissions.
- Coordinates with staff and other agencies to maintain IBR data.
- Assists staff with IBR related inquiries and concerns. Coordinates subordinate training with IBR related software. Responsible for submitting, reviewing and approving subordinates time and attendance records.
- This position supervises assigned staff, including recommending selection, training, assigning and evaluating work, counseling, administering discipline, and recommending termination. Other duties as assigned.
