As an Equipment Operator II, you will utilize those special talents to:
- Operate backhoes, crane trucks, excavators, and vacuum trucks.
- Repair water mains; repair, replace, or install fire hydrants and water valves
- Technical work relating to the repair, installation, and maintenance of a Water Distribution System and the Department of Public Utilities.

This position is deemed an Alpha position so you must have the ability to work in any emergency situations due to weather or operational issues. Must be available for inclement weather, mandatory standby duty, and overtime as needed.
Position requires a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement and is subject to Random Drug/Alcohol Testing. Some night work may also be required. Employees may be expected to work hours in excess of their normally scheduled hours in response to short-term department needs and/or City-wide emergencies.
