The Water Meter Technician I will assist the Water Meter Tech III in performing meter testing, maintenance, repair, and replacement of meter boxes and pipe ranging in size from 5/8” to 10”.
The Water Meter Technician I will assist the Water Meter Tech III in performing meter testing, maintenance, repair, and replacement of meter boxes and pipe ranging in size from 5/8” to 10”.
- Water Meter Technician I must be able to read and record water meter readings.
- Water Meter Technician I issue parts and monitor materials or tools used. Must have ability to use hand tools, specialty tools or Pneumatic tools in a proficient manner. This position will work in confined spaces.
- Water Meter Technician I is required to operate and maintain various types of equipment or vehicles.
- Water Meter Technician I will provide maintenance and housekeeping of meter shop, and equipment or vehicles.
- Water Meter Technician I must be able to communicate and interact with public in a professional manner.
