Job responsibilities

  • Verify validity of invoices received. Reconcile incoming vendor invoices with our internal receiving paperwork and purchase orders.
  • Ensure required document compliance prior to payment. Research discrepancies with appropriate internal staff and external vendors.
  • Enter invoices into accounting software using proper general ledger coding.
  • Research and follow through with vendor requests for outstanding payments.
  • Generate accounts receivable invoices and enter into the system.
  • Perform general administrative tasks including answering phones and ordering insurance certificates and bonds.

Skills and Experience

  • Associate degree (preferred)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
