Traffic Signals Technician I:
Education and/or Equivalent Experience:
Traffic Signals Technician I:
Education and/or Equivalent Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent, plus one (1) year of related work experience in a construction, electronics maintenance, or traffic signal-related role.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- Must have a Texas Commercial Driver License or ability to obtain within five (5) months of employment or approved extension by Department Director or designee.
- Valid Texas Driver License.
Traffic Signals Technician II:
Education and/or Equivalent Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent, plus three (3) years of experience in a construction, electronics maintenance, or signal-related role.
- Education may substitute for experience up to two (2) years.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- Must have a Texas Commercial Driver License or ability to obtain within five (5) months of employment or approved extension by the Department Director or designee.
- Valid Texas Driver License
- International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Certification Level 1.
