Street and Drainage Maintenance Supervisor (Pavement & Infrastructure Division)
Public Works
Education and/or Equivalent Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent, plus (6) years experience in maintenance and/or construction, including (3) years experience in the operation of heavy duty equipment and (2) years experience in lead/supervisory capacity.
Licenses or Certifications:
- Licensed for the operation of commercial vehicles in the state of Texas within ninety (90) days of employment.
- Good driving record required.
- To be considered for employment in this position applicants must comply with Department of Transportation Federal Regulations and the City of Austin Drug Policy.
Physical Requirements:
- Talking, use of vision and hearing, frequent standing, sitting, walking, driving, good vision and dexterity and mobility, able to lift and carry 90 pounds, available to work long hours and occasionally perform manual labor.
