Summary
The Gainesville, GA production facility is a fully-cooked, ready-to-eat, further processing facility within the Premium Prepared Foods division (no birds). We create products for consumers, retailers, and foodservice customers around the globe.
To assist management in the decision making process through, the daily input of production data into the data collection system and the preparation of reports based on production data; to ensure the quality and accuracy of production data and reports by bringing issues / problems with reported production data to the attention of management and working with production leads and supervision to minimize reporting errors.Usually works five to six days a week; overtime may be required based on production needs.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage data entry on a daily basis – Receive and sort production paperwork provided by leads / supervisors. Crosscheck paperwork for accuracy. Enter production data into data collection system. Answer questions from management and production personnel regarding data specific items.
- Track inventory – assist in tracking of raw materials and finish goods through the accurate and timely entry of data into the data collection system. Answer questions about specific inventory items and raw material shipments as needed.
- Assist with process auditing by cross checking of paperwork to ensure accuracy, create a data trail for all production processes from receipt of raw materials to the shipment of finished goods by proper reporting of production data.
- Acquire proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
- Experienced in SAP and CFS systems.
- Work in other areas as needed.
Minimum Education
High School or equivalent
Experience Requirements
- 0 to 2 years.
- Good math, reading and writing skills.
- Knowledge of standard software applications, such as Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Good analytical and communication (both oral and written skills) and preferably experience in Accounting.
Experience Preferred
Knowledge of SAP and CFS systems preferred.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
- Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
- May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
- May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
- Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
- When in a plant environment:
Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
