Key
Responsibilities
- Verify,
allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable.
- Verify
and reconcile vendor statements.
- Assist
in processing invoices and payments.
- Prepare
and send invoices as necessary.
- Monitor
and report on cash deposits regularly.
- Ensure
compliance with hotel policies and guidelines.
- Assist
with internal and external audits.
- Ensure
compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Stay
updated on changes in accounting practices.
- Maintain
strict confidentiality of financial information.
- Handle
sensitive financial data with integrity and discretion.
- Assist
with ad-hoc accounting projects as assigned by the Area Director of
Finance/Area Assistant Director of Finance
Qualifications
- High
school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or
Finance preferred.
- Previous
experience in accounting or related field is a plus.
- Proficiency
in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent
attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability
to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong
communication and interpersonal skills.
- Discretion and trustworthiness in handling confidential information.
