As a Sanitation Supervisor you’ll be working in our Grand Rapids, MI plant making it a safe, clean, reliable and productive environment while supporting our production. HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

 

  • Compliance is Key – You will be responsible for ensuring microbial program & sanitation compliance. You will also be accountable for HACCP, line validations, as well as quality & food safety training for the facility to ensure said compliance & execution of required programs
  • Program Management – You will ensure allergen program management and compliance by key traceability, inspection program management & the delivery of established metrics.
  • Continuous Improvement Focused – Bring your owner’s mindset to the table in this role as your help drive CI initiatives forward. You will work with partners to execute programs as well as ensure the management, adherence & achievement of plant SOP’s & KPI’s.
  • Safety First – Adhering to the required quality & food safety laws, regulations (OSHA & EPA), corporate policies & practices will fall in your lap. You will support the coordination & preparation for all internal & third-party audits.
  • Lead with Excellence – You will manage a crew of 12-20 union employees. You will direct, train, develop, and support QFS Associates while also ensuring they have the proper tools and chemical inventory to be successful.

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

 

  • High School Diploma/GED plus demonstrated Sanitation experience
  • Knowledge of chemical usage and safety
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong problem solving ability
  • Understanding of general industrial safety requirements
  • Ability to work off shifts and weekends as needed
  • Food industry experience
