Procurement Specialist I/II/III; Depending on Qualifications - $2000 Sign-On Bonus Available!

The City of Chesapeake is recruiting entry-level or experienced professionals to serve as a Procurement Specialist I/II/III. The City will provide training in the first year to test for the Virginia Contracting Associate (VCA) certification. There is also a career progression program in place that provides procurement specialists the opportunity to advance through the I, II and III level in as quickly as 24 months! Hiring ranges: PSI: $46,298 to $60,187; PSII: $51,099 to $66,429; PSIII: $53,683-$69,788. Hiring salary dependent on qualifications/experience. $2,000 sign-on bonus for new hires and hires from other City of Chesapeake departments. The City will compensate for experience in public procurement, especially at the local government level.
